Select a location and sWeather will provide lots of weather-related info about that location: temperature, when the sun rises and when it sets, wind speed and direction, humidity, and so on.
Select multiple locations and sWeather allows you to easily switch between them and thus easily access weather info for those locations.
When you close sWeather, it doesn’t really go away. It remains in the system tray – it displays weather info in your PC’s system tray.

sWeather does not have to be installed. To get started with the application you need only download an archive, extract its contents, and then run the sWeather executable. The application will work with any Windows version from Windows XP onward. The developer explained that sWeather was not tested on Windows 8.

On its interface, sWeather displays weather info for the location you select. The info is comprehensively presented on the interface; you will have no problems understanding it.
sWeather also displays weather info in the system tray. You will see two icons in the system tray. One of them displays the current weather. The other, well, when you place the mouse over it, weather info shows up.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from sWeather: view weather info on the application’s interface; easily switch from one location to another; configure and manage a list of locations; metric units are supported; Celsius and Fahrenheit are supported; the application can be set to automatically launch at startup; the system tray icons can be customized; and more. Since sWeather is freeware (consider making a donation), you have all the time in the world to uncover all the functionality it has to offer.

With sWeather, a free and portable application, you can see how the weather is like in multiple locations.

Pros

sWeather does not have to be installed. Weather info is presented on the interface and in the system tray. The tray icons can be customized. Lots of locations are supported; easily switch between locations; easily manage a list of locations. sWeather is freeware (consider making a donation).

Cons

Not the prettiest weather application out there.
